In the original comics, Jennifer Walters needs some blood and has to get it from her cousin Bruce Banner….with hilarious consequences! Bruce of course had misgivings about the possible outcome due to his traumatic life as the Hulk, but didn’t have much of a choice.
In the MCU, this would be pretty easy to replicate. Bruce’s family outside his parents has been ignored so far. A rare blood type transfusion scenario is feasible and happens in real life. As Professor Hulk, while concerns and safeguards would still be present, he would be a little more hopeful the worst could be avoided, or at least managed.
With Universal firmly blocking a Hulk movie, a She-Hulk movie seems very unlikely anytime soon. But with Marvel’s intentions of bringing in more female superheroes, coupled with a strategy of teaming up heroes in movies and TV, I could see her introduced in Phase 5 and possibly joining the Avengers at some point. She-Hulk was introduced in 1980 and has had staying power over the years with both male and female readers. She would be a great addition to the MCU.
